How it works

- 3Review every findingApprove what should go, leave out what must stay, and draw boxes for anything the scan missed.
- 4Export with a reportThe text under each box is removed and the output is searched for the redacted strings. Keep the verification report with the matter file.
Where you still need a person
- Privilege and relevance are your call. The scan finds personal data, not privileged passages.
- Court rules differ on what must be redacted. Some filing rules allow keeping the last four digits of a number or only the year of a birth date. The studio removes the whole value, so handle partial redaction by hand and check the rule that applies to you.
- Handwriting and text inside images can be missed. Scanned pages are read with on-device text recognition, so check them closely.
- The report confirms that the listed strings could not be extracted. It does not prove that everything sensitive was found.
