Terms of use

The service

Airgap Redact is a browser tool that helps you find and remove sensitive information from PDF files on your own device. By using it you agree to these terms.

You are responsible for the result

The tool proposes redactions and checks that the redacted text cannot be extracted from the output. It does not guarantee that every piece of sensitive information was found. You must review each document and decide what is redacted. We are not responsible for information you did not redact or chose to leave in.

Acceptable use

Use the service only for documents you have the right to process, and do not attempt to disrupt it, bypass its limits or probe it for weaknesses without permission.

Accounts and credits

Credits permit verified exports. A credit is used only when an export passes verification, and it is returned automatically when verification fails. Credits have no cash value and are forfeited when an account is deleted.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. It is not legal, compliance or professional advice, and it is not certified to any compliance standard.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date.
